ENEMIES OF CHRISTIANS
When you become a Christian there are some enemies to look out for as a beliver. Being a Christian requires a dedicating and commitment. these enemies will want you back to the old life but you have to fight it very hard. What are these enemies and how can we defeat them?
- The World
- The Flesh
- Satan
The Flesh: When we allow our flesh to rule over us then we come shot the glory of God. To conquer the flesh your spirit man has to be very energetic and strong. What do i mean, (Galatians 5:19-21)
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry,
sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of
anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness,
carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I
have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not
inherit the kingdom of God.
Satan : This is the number enemy of a christian.... He is an accuser of believers in the book of job he went to God to accuse job. Even our lord JESUS Christ was also tempted by him. He is restless and his only mission is to kill and destroy. (John 10:10) The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have [it] abundantly. The thief here is referred to Satan, he comes to steal you joy, peace, love away from you and also kill you in sin. Here is a good news, Jesus has given us the power to rebuke him..(Philippians 2:10-11) At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.....HOW DO WE CONQUER THIS ENEMIES
- Feeding ourselves with the word of God. As a Christian you must be able to read at least 3chapters of the bible daily because reading is food to the soul.
- By praying without season
- Always declaring the word of God
